You Can Help Urbandale Residents in Need at Our First Incredible UCAN Race

Get ready for a morning filled with exciting challenges and teamwork–all for a meaningful cause! Mark your calendars for October 17, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to support a healthier, more vibrant Urbandale.

The Urbandale Community Action Network (UCAN)’s Incredible UCAN Race fundraiser supports local students and senior citizens through our programs that provide resources and transportation. Teams will drive to iconic Urbandale locations to decipher clues, complete physical and intellectual challenges, and work with their teammates to help raise awareness for UCAN’s programs.

Register for the Race

$25 per person (maximum of four people on a team) if registered by October 1 
$35 per person (maximum of four people on a team) after October 1 
Children 10 and under are free, Each registrant will receive a t-shirt, lunch, and a drink

Race prices:

First Place: $100
Second Place: $75
Third Place: $50

Challenge-winning teams will receive gift cards to local businesses.

Teams will embark on a race across the community to decipher clues, complete physical and intellectual challenges, and work with their fellow neighbors towards supporting residents who benefit from some extra support.
